Because this treatment forms part of her qualification, it will only be available during August, giving clients a limited opportunity to experience this wonderfully gentle treatment at a special introductory price.

What is Lymphatic Drainage Massage?

This is very different from a traditional or deep tissue massage.

Lymphatic drainage uses extremely light, slow and rhythmic movements designed to encourage the natural movement of lymph fluid around the body.

There is no deep pressure or working into the muscles. Because the lymphatic vessels sit just beneath the skin's surface, the pressure throughout the treatment is deliberately very light.

It may be beneficial for clients who:

  • Experience puffiness or fluid retention
  • Have heavy, tired-feeling legs
  • Spend long periods sitting or standing
  • Are recovering from certain cosmetic procedures, where appropriate and with medical guidance
  • Want a very gentle treatment to support their overall wellbeing

Clients may experience reduced swelling and fluid retention and feel lighter and less puffy following treatment.

Important Information

Lymphatic Drainage Massage is designed to support the body's natural processes and may help with swelling and fluid retention. It is not a detox treatment or a cure for medical conditions, and results vary from person to person.

It isn't suitable for everyone, including some people with heart failure, active infections, kidney disease, untreated blood clots or cancer without medical approval.

Every appointment therefore includes a 15-minute consultation beforehand to ensure the treatment is appropriate for the client.
