We understand that planning and organising your wedding is one of the most important times of your life. Everything needs to be as perfect as possible, details refined, and a trust instilled in your therapist that you can rest assured knowing your beauty preparations are in the safe hands of our expert therapists.
We also know that looking your best on your special day is paramount and with over twenty years experience between us in Bridal Make-Up you can rest assured knowing you are in the capable hands of our highly skilled friendly team, who will ensure your Make-Up will be flawless, water resistant and last for hours.
We will analyse your skin and discuss your current skincare and Make-Up regime, and the look you would like to achieve. We would recommend bringing the following with you to your trial…
A Selection of Inspiring Images of Specific Looks You Like
iPads, netbooks, tablets, iPhones or a traditional scrapbook are all welcome. Please show us as much as you like as it helps us build a picture of you as a person, your likes, dislikes and the style of your wedding…. plus of course we love hearing about all our brides’ wedding plans! We would highly recommend using Pinterest due to the fact there are thousands of inspiring images that are updated daily.
Colour Samples/Flowers/Material Swatches
Anything to give us an idea of your chosen colour scheme, and whether or not you would like this to be incorporated into the Make-Up.
If there’s a particular foundation or lip colour you absolutely adore…. we want to see it! It’s important for us to understand what look, textures and colours you like so don’t be shy or embarrassed…we love Make-Up and are genuinely interested and will not judge you on your Tesco finest eyeshadow palette.
A Trustworthy Friend For A Second Opinion
Some brides do, some brides don’t, it totally depends on you. We welcome mums, sisters, bridesmaids and friends so if you want a valued second opinion please bring them along (we would recommend bringing no more than one person along to avoid bridal overload). If you are happy to come alone, do not panic, we are a lovely bunch and can assure you we will do our upmost best to ensure your experience with us is the absolute best it can be.
Do Wear Something White/Ivory (depending on your colour choice)
This will give you a sense of how your Make-Up will look against your dress. Wearing a dark top changes the entire colour palette giving you a false impression of how the Make-Up will actually look…so do not wear black.
If you plan on having a spray tan, have a trial run before your Make-Up consultation so we can colour match you exactly to show you how it will look.
Your Make-Up trial is your time invested in making sure you look your very best, it is therefore vital that if you don’t like something you can let us know while we have the time and tools to change or adjust anything that’s bothering you, no matter how big or small. The trial is there for exactly this reason …hence why our trial Mak-Up sessions are double the time of a regular slot, enabling us to try a few looks to ensure we get it spot on. It is our job to ensure you leave our salon feeling comfortable, confident and damn right gorgeous.
Your wedding photos are something that you will look back on for years to come, and smile because you know you were looking your best. For any bride, achieving the perfect complexion comes high up on the list of priorities. Having clear, radiant skin is a real confidence boost and any girl knows this certainly should not be under estimated.
With that in mind we have out together the Perfection Pre-Wedding Guide to Perfect Skin…
All brides get stressed, but stress can play havoc on our skin. Gorgeous skin comes from within so do not under estimate the importance of nutritious food choices, lots of water and of course plenty of beauty sleep.
Try to avoid processed foods, salt and caffeine that cause eye puffiness, dark circles and a dull complexion.
Trust the experts
We offer a wide variety of facials, using two of the most prestigious facial skin care brands in the industry, which we can customise specifically for you.
We would recommend that you plan to start any specific skin care treatment plan six months prior to your wedding, to enable us to do a thorough skin analysis and put together a programme that will ultimately enhance and beautify your skin.
A facial each month for six months will ensure your complexion is radiant for your wedding day and for those memorable photographs, we will also explain the benefits of any products we feel would benefit your skin and advise you on the best home care regime.
